Rainbow Mountain was born Mullumbimby, Australia in year 2022.

Jimmy has been surfing since the age of 8 and born into the surfing scene of North Narrabeen on Sydneys Northern Beaches.

From the short board scene at Narrabeen, Jimmy decided to move north into the northern parts of New South Wales in Byron Bay and dive back into the traditional way of surfing. Jimmy started surfing longboards and created a deep love with that particular style of surfing and decided to take the path of creating retro style surf boards.
